How to purchase your first home Pt 3

Brielle Camiolo from Remax Access coming to you for the final part of purchasing your first home!

In a perfect world, we would find the home inspection came back good and the title came back clear.

After the home inspection comes back, we'll negotiate repairs to be done or cost to be updated prior to settlement.

The lender will have an appraiser to come out to the house. The appraiser goes through to determine the market value. If the appraiser comes up with a value above or on point to the purchase price, that's good. If the appraiser comes down lower, the difference will need to be made to the lender. This is why it's so important to check out comparable in the area to see what the market value is ahead of time. Also, us as agents to help guide you to see what's the best offer for you to present.

Once the mortgage lender gives us the clear to close, settlement is ready to go.

We'll do a final walk through the morning of to make sure it's in the agreed upon state. At settlement, is the official changing of hands of the property. It'll be spent signing docs, and of course taking pictures and doing happy dances!

CONGRATS! YOU'RE A HOME OWNER!

(speak it into existence!!!!!)
